Ordering an iPad

You can easily request iPads directly through your clinic’s Slack channel using the built-in iPad Order Workflow. Follow the steps below to submit your request, ensure accurate information, and track approval notifications.

  1. Access Your Clinic's Slack Channel:

    Open Slack and head over to your clinic’s specific Slack channel.

  2. Locate the iPad Order Workflow:

    At the top of the channel, look for the "Workflows" bar. Select the iPad order option to get started.

  3. Submit the iPad Request:

    Click the play button to open the form and fill out these fields:

    • Number of iPads: Enter the number of iPads you need.

    • Select end-user employee profile: Tag the Slack profile of the employee who will use the iPad. This helps us link the iPad’s serial number to them.

      • Note: If the employee's profile isn’t available yet (e.g., they’re still onboarding), you can enter their name manually.

    • Shipping address name: Enter the recipient’s name for the package—usually the practice owner or the team member receiving it.

    • Shipping address: Fill in the complete shipping address as requested in the workflow fields.

    • Phone number: Enter the phone number as digits only (no dashes or special characters).

  4. Approval and Notification:

    Once submitted, the request will be reviewed promptly. You’ll receive a private Slack notification as soon as it is approved, and an email with a tracking number once it has been shipped

Additional Information:

  • Request Accuracy: Double-check the details (employee’s name, shipping name) before submitting or in the confirmation message to prevent delays.

  • Notification Visibility: Only the person who submits the request will see the Slack notification confirming approval
