How to Complete Your Rippling Setup as an Onboarding Practice Owners

This guide walks onboarding Practice Owners through completing their Rippling onboarding.


These steps are required before Finni can begin insurance credentialing and contracting work with payers like Medicaid, Aetna, Anthem, and others.

If Rippling is not completed, we are legally blocked from moving you forward with getting in-network and launching your practice.

Why Rippling Is Important

Rippling is used by Finni to securely collect and verify the information that insurance payers require before they will allow us to submit credentialing and contracting applications on your behalf.

Completing Rippling allows Finni to:

  • Start insurance credentialing and payer contracting

  • Create your internal Mission Control profile

  • Set up compliance and background verification required by payers

  • Prevent delays later when families are ready to start care

Important:
Completing Rippling does not mean you are becoming a Finni employee; this is a standard compliance step required to work with insurance networks.

Prerequisites

Before starting, please have the following ready. These items are required so Finni can begin the insurance credentialing and contracting process on your behalf.

Your home address

Required by insurance payers to verify your practice location and personal identity during credentialing.

Your banking information

Used to set up payer payments once you are in-network and begin seeing clients.

Your Social Security Number (SSN)

Required by payers and background check providers to verify identity and submit credentialing applications.

Your CAQH username and password

(Visit registry)

CAQH is the primary system most payers use to credential providers. Access allows us to confirm and submit your information correctly.

Your Medicaid username and password, IF applicable

Some states require direct access to state Medicaid portals to complete or verify enrollment.

Completing Rippling in one sitting prevents errors or partial submissions that delay credentialing.

All information is handled securely and used only for payer enrollment and compliance.

Step-by-Step Rippling Setup

Step 1: Open Your Rippling Invitation Email

You should have received an offer letter email from Rippling on behalf of Finni Health with an invitation link.

  • Open the email

  • Click the Register button

If you cannot find the email, check spam or search for “Rippling”.

Step 2: Create Your Rippling Account

You’ll be prompted to:

  • Set a password

  • Confirm your identity

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete account creation.

Step 3: Complete Required Personal & Compliance Information

Rippling will guide you through several sections. These may include:

  • Personal information

  • Tax and compliance details

  • Identity verification / background check authorization

These steps are required by insurance payers, not just by Finni/ Please complete all required fields (leaving sections incomplete will block your ability to get in-network with payers).

Step 4: Submit and Confirm Completion

Once all sections are complete:

  • Review for accuracy

  • Submit your information

You do not need to notify Finni manually, your successful completion is detected automatically.

What Happens After You Finish Rippling

After all of your Rippling setup is fully complete, then:

  1. You'll get an invite to create your company email (more information here).

  2. Credentialing and contracting work can begin

  3. We start matching you with payer networks

  4. You move closer to accepting insured clients

If Rippling is incomplete, none of the above can start.

    Insurance companies require verified identity, compliance, and tax information before allowing credentialing submissions.

  • “Am I becoming a Finni employee?”
    No. This is a compliance and payer requirement only.

  • “Can I skip this for now?”
    Delaying Rippling directly delays your ability to get in-network and launch.
