Product & Engineering

  • Approvals Page Revamp

    • You can now filter appointments by provider, date, and type, making it faster to find exactly what you need. Appointments are also grouped by date, so your schedule is easier to review and manage at a glance.

    • A few more improvements are underway; we’ll update you once completed!

  • Enrollment Comment feature in Mission Control 

    • We’ve added a new Enrollment Comment feature in Mission Control to help you review enrollments and stay up to date on any changes. You can find this feature by going to the Staff tab, clicking Edit on the provider, and scrolling down to Provider Enrollments.

      • Please use this comment section to ask questions and request updates on enrollment statuses. This will help create a more streamlined and efficient process for everyone involved.


Clinical Quality & Compliance

  • Signature Reminder

    • We’ve recently encountered a few situations where session notes were left incomplete—particularly when families discontinued services or when employees left the organization before obtaining all required signatures.


      To prevent this going forward, please make sure that collecting all necessary signatures is built into your offboarding workflow whenever a family or employee is preparing to leave your practice.

    • Please keep in mind that notes should be completed within 48 hours. You can read more about best practices for completing notes in our Support article: Session Note Completion.

Practice Success

  • Upcoming CE event— RSVP here

    • Please join us on December 4th at 12 PM EST for a CE session with Rose Griffin, MA, CCC-SLP, BCBA, focused on ethical collaboration between SLPs and BCBAs.

      • In this event, “Navigating Conflict Ethically: GLP, AAC, and Verbal Imitation in Practice,” Rose will guide us through how to ethically navigate differing perspectives in communication support. You’ll walk away with practical tools for supporting learners who use gestalt language processing, AAC, and verbal imitation; all while maintaining ethical and collaborative practices across disciplines. 

  • Central Reach Learner Seats Update: 

    • Please archive learners once their reports have been processed or if the kiddo has churned. Archiving inactive learners helps ensure we have enough space to welcome new kiddos. You can unarchive a learner at any time, and all past reports will remain accessible even while archived.

Credentialing and Billing

  • Authorization Requests to Silna:

    • To ensure the quickest turnaround time when submitting authorization requests to Silna, please make sure to include the following documentation:

      • Diagnostic Evaluation

      • Treatment Plan (unless the request is for an assessment authorization)

  • Enrollment Reminder:

    • We are still experiencing delays in Medicaid enrollments across various states, which appear to be related to the federal government shutdown. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to monitor the situation.


HR

  • Reminder that we now have a dedicated tag for the Onboarding Team and a separate tag for HR escalations. Using the correct tag ensures your request reaches the right team quickly. Please use the appropriate tags when reaching out:

    • @onboarding → For all onboarding-related questions and support for your employees.

    • @hrops → For HR escalations, including employee relations and payroll matters.
