Planning for First of Year benefit reverification: Start preparing for First of Year benefit reverification as the new year approaches! Initial eligibility screening will run through early January, with approximately 99% of plans verified by January 9th. Full benefit reverifications are expected to reach 90% completion by January 23rd and 99% by January 30th. January SLAs remain 2 business days for all benefit checks.

Rippling Spend for Reimbursements: We’re moving all expense reimbursements from Brex to Rippling Spend! What this means:
Everything happens in one platform you already use.
Faster, simpler process with no back-and-forth.
Reimbursements are paid through payroll, so you know when to expect them.
For a step-by-step guide, check out our Knowledge Base article: Rippling Spend: Expense Reimbursement Guide
Staff Bonus and Other Payout Request Workflow: Practice Owners can now submit bonus or other additional payout requests directly through the new Staff Bonus and Other Payout Request Workflow. Simply run the workflow in your designated Slack channel, and the request will be routed to the Payroll team for review. Once approved, the payout will be added to the payroll for the selected pay period. The workflow supports:
Performance bonuses
Referral bonuses
Additional pay
Any other one-time payout requests

New rules for RBT certification start on January 1, 2026!
Exam & Training: Updated 40-hour course, new study list, more focus on data/graphs, clearer ethics, and application fee rises to $65.
Certification Renewal: Now every 2 years, with 12 Professional Development hours required; recertification fee $50.
For Supervisors: Trainers need 8-hour supervision training, assistants must be RBT certified, 40-hour course updated, and training records kept for 10 years.
If your application is approved before 2026, the current rules still apply. Any certification that expires in 2026 or later will require completing the new training and assessment.
