401(k) Update: Moving to Vestwell
Last updated: May 6, 2026
Our 401(k) plan is officially moving from Accrue to Vestwell.
This upgrade is all about giving you a better, simpler, and more flexible way to manage your retirement savings — while keeping everything you’ve already built fully intact.
📅 What’s happening right now
We’re currently in a short transition window:
Blackout period: April 22 – May 6
During this time, your account is being securely transferred to Vestwell.
👀 What this means for you
✅ The good news: everything carries over
Your current balance and investments stays the same
Your investments stay invested
Your paycheck contributions continue as usual
👉 Nothing is lost, paused, or reset — your savings keep working for you.
⏸ What’s temporarily paused
During the transition (now through May 6), you won’t be able to make changes to your account.
This includes:
Updating your contribution %
Changing investments
Taking withdrawals or loans
👉 This is normal and temporary — it ensures everything transfers safely.
📩 What to expect next
Once the transition is complete:
You’ll receive an email from Vestwell
👉 If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder.
You’ll create your new account
You can review and update anything you’d like
🚫 How to Opt Out of Enrollment After Account is Transferred
There are a few different ways that employees can opt out of their plan if they would not like to participate:
Easiest Method: Employees can opt out directly through their saver portal.
To begin, employees must log in to their saver portal
From the home page, under the "Savings Rates" section, select Change Savings
Adjust the Pre-Tax and/or Roth amount to "0" and then select Apply Changes
Employees can contact Vestwell directly.
Employees can opt out by completing the Automatic Enrollment Permissible Withdrawal and Opt-Out Form. From here, employees can withdraw funds that were accidentally deferred due to auto-enrollment.
💡 Important notes
Contribution timing
It may take a short time after the transition for contributions to fully appear
Any recent payroll contributions will be automatically backfilled
If you don’t set up your account right away
No problem:
Your contributions will still continue
You just won’t be able to view or update your account until you log in
Beneficiaries
Your existing beneficiary information should carry over, but we recommend reviewing it once you log in.
Past account history
Your new account will be on Vestwell
You may need to access Accrue for older statements or historical records
✨ What’s new with Vestwell
With Vestwell, you’ll get:
📱 A cleaner, easier-to-use dashboard (web + mobile)
🎯 More personalized investing options
💰 Optional emergency savings tools
🌍 Better support and accessibility
