Product & Engineering

• Orbit Video update

  • Improved video upload workflow will be launched on Saturday, 11/1/25. This will allow you to take videos directly from the active session screen. Please see a walkthrough in our Support Article: Orbit Video Streaming.

• Orbit Graph Sync

  • Target graphs will now sync only when “Sync All” is clicked. Changing the date range updates only the graph you’re viewing.

•  AI Narrative feature available for Supervision Appointments

  • We’ve introduced AI note generation to help streamline your supervision documentation! While this new feature is available, please note that using AI-generated notes is completely optional— you can still write your notes manually if you prefer.

    • If you’d like to take notes during a supervision session and use those to build your AI-generated note, you can do so in the pop-up modal that appears during the session. Anything you enter there will be automatically saved and available when you generate your final note.

IOA Comparison: If IOA data is collected, the AI Narrative will automatically compare primary vs. secondary observer data.

• Reminder: Upcoming CE event— RSVP here! 

  • Please join us on December 4th at 12 PM EST for a CE session with Rose Griffin, MA, CCC-SLP, BCBA, focused on ethical collaboration between SLPs and BCBAs.

    • In this event, “Navigating Conflict Ethically: GLP, AAC, and Verbal Imitation in Practice,” Rose will guide us through how to ethically navigate differing perspectives in communication support. You’ll walk away with practical tools for supporting learners who use gestalt language processing, AAC, and verbal imitation; all while maintaining ethical and collaborative practices across disciplines. 

Credentialing and Billing

• Enrollment Comment feature in Mission Control reminder

  • We’ve added a new Enrollment Comment feature in Mission Control to help you review enrollments and stay up to date on any changes. You can find this feature by going to Staff, clicking Edit, and scrolling down to Provider Enrollments.

    • Please review our standard follow-up cadence and timelines regarding enrollments outlined in the Support Article: Managing Enrollments. If you still have questions, use this comment section to request updates or ask about enrollment statuses. This helps us maintain a more streamlined and efficient process for everyone involved.

      

• Payer Name Standardization

  • Updated payer names are now available in MC and Parent Portal for consistency. The standardized list includes: Medicaid, Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, BCBS.

    • Certain BCBS plans (e.g., Anthem, Highmark) will remain visible if listed on insurance cards.

HR

• Name Change Workflow: Check out the updated Name Change Notification Process for submitting any changes.

• Rehire Workflow: A refreshed guide is now available for rehiring former staff members.

IT

• Reminder: Add iPad Serial Numbers into Rippling

  • Please be sure to provide your iPad serial number in your Rippling Profile. This is an important step to ensure that your device is in compliance for use during client sessions.
